The Full Cost Breakdown
D4 Medical Examination — £50 to £120
Before you can apply for an HGV provisional licence, you need to pass a Group 2 medical examination with a registered doctor. The examination covers eyesight, blood pressure, cardiovascular health, and other DVLA criteria. Private clinics in Sheffield typically charge £60 to £100.
Provisional Licence Application — £43
