Take the next step. Drive articulated trucks. Earn more. Go further in your career.
You have your Class C. You can drive rigid trucks. But you want more. More earning potential. More job opportunities. More respect from the industry. Class CE is where serious HGV careers go. Articulated trucks. Up to 44 tonnes. The highest-paid driving roles in the country. And we will get you there.
The external problem is clear: the best-paying driving roles in logistics, long-haul, supermarket trunking, tankers, and temperature-controlled freight all require a Class CE licence. Without it, you are locked out of the top tier.
The internal problem for most CE candidates is one specific skill: coupling and uncoupling. The procedure that connects and disconnects the cab from the trailer. It is the part that makes people most nervous. Done wrong on test day, it is a fail. Most training schools cover it. We drill it until you own it.
The deeper problem is that your hard work on Class C should open more doors, not fewer. You have already committed to this career. CE is the natural next step. The right training school makes it feel that way.
The best jobs require CE, not just C
Long-haul, supermarket trunking, temperature-controlled, tanker work. All CE roles. All paying more.
Coupling and uncoupling is the make-or-break skill
Most candidates worry about this above everything else. It is the part most training schools rush.
You need to know you are properly prepared
A failed CE test costs money and time. You need a school that tells you the truth about your readiness.
You want to know the C+CE combined route
If you do not yet have Class C, the combined package is often the most efficient and cost-effective route.
Nathan is our coupling specialist. He teaches the procedure methodically, step by step, until it stops feeling like a test task and starts feeling like something you just do. That is the difference between a school that covers it and a school that drills it.
Nathan holds assessor qualifications alongside his instruction credentials. He knows precisely what the DVSA examiner is looking for at each stage of the coupling and uncoupling procedure. He teaches it that way from day one. Students arrive unsure. They leave confident. That is not an accident.
"Nathan's teaching on the coupling was the thing I was most nervous about. He broke it down so clearly that by day three it felt completely natural. 0 minors on the reverse. 1 minor on the drive."

Dan coordinates the full CE journey from your first call. CPC Module 4 is tested on-site here at Sheffield S9, not at a separate DVSA venue. We book your practical test at Sheffield Handsworth and prepare you specifically for the local routes. Everything happens through us.
"Dan organised everything from my theory to mod 4 and everything in between. The process all the way through was spot on and flawless."

Whether you already have Class C or are starting from scratch, here is the route.
Tell Dan where you are: already have Class C, or starting from scratch. He will map out the right package, give you a clear price, and tell you how quickly you can be trained. No pressure, no upsell. Just the honest route.
Mon to Fri 8am to 5pm
You must hold Class C before training for CE. If you do not yet have it, the combined C+CE package takes you through both back to back. One journey, one school, one price. Many of our students do exactly this.
Combined route available
One-to-one instruction with Nathan or Steve on a real articulated truck. Coupling and uncoupling drilled from day one. CPC Module 4 tested on-site. DVSA test at Sheffield Handsworth, booked and included. 75% pass first time.
CE training: 5 to 7 days
Mon to Fri 8am to 5pm · [email protected]
Class C drivers earn well. Class CE drivers earn significantly more. The premium roles in logistics, the national accounts, the specialist freight work, the overnight trunking contracts that pay the highest rates. All CE.
Every year without CE is a year at the lower end of the pay scale. Every failed test from poor preparation costs you a resit fee, a delay, and the knock to your confidence that comes with it.
The wrong training school is expensive in ways that go beyond the fee. Choose on price alone and you may pass your test but never feel truly confident behind the wheel of an artic. That matters when you are driving 44 tonnes on a motorway.
Locked out of the highest-paying driving roles in the country
Years at a lower pay ceiling when CE could change that in weeks
A poor test preparation leading to a failed attempt and a resit fee
Driving an artic without genuine confidence in your coupling procedure
You have your CE licence. You apply for the roles that were not available to you before. You get behind the wheel of a 44-tonne artic with confidence, competence, and a certificate that says you belong there.
Long-haul, supermarket trunking, tanker driving, temperature-controlled freight. All CE. All paying more.
Experienced CE drivers regularly earn £40,000 to £55,000. Specialist roles go higher. The licence pays for itself quickly.
Because we drilled the hard parts, not glossed over them. You will know you are ready when you sit the test.
"0 minors on the reverse and 1 minor on the drive. Five days of training. Steve is an outstanding instructor and Nathan's teaching on the coupling procedure was brilliant. Cannot recommend highly enough."
